Welkin Music & Theatre was founded in 2022 by Jodie Micciché and Andrew Armfield. We want to make accessible, exciting and engaging work for communities in the South West of the UK and beyond.
Andrew Armfield is an actor, musician and composer and one of the co-founders of Welkin Music & Theatre. He has performed in and composed original music for 12 actor-musician productions with Folksy Theatre, Spun Glass Theatre and Scratchworks Theatre Company. He has toured nationally and internationally to both theatres and schools. He trained at the Bridge Theatre Training Company in London.

Jodie Micciché is an actor, dancer, musician and one of the co-founders of Welkin Music & Theatre. She has performed in actor-musician productions, regional pantomimes and open air touring theatre. She is also a workshop facilitator for primary age children. Jodie trained at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts and furthered her studies with a Masters in Musical Theatre at Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.
